“I want to say that I love you to two friends whom may be watching this.”

These are words that Hero, Micky, and Xiah have spoken for their Best Asian award acceptance at MAMA. Despite the hold back from SM Entertainment, three members of DBSK (a.k.a. TVXQ, tohoshinki) made their appearance at Mnet Asian Music Award (MAMA) ceremony. All other artists under SM Entertainment, including two other members of DBSK U-Know and Best, have boycotted the ceremony. Later, SM Entertainment announced that three members of DBSK had no authority to accept the award without consent from the company.

Meanwhile, 2PM called upon Jae-Bum’s name during their acceptance speech. 2PM have won the Men’s group award in MAMA and for their award acceptance speech, they said, “We are thankful to Jae-Bum. Without him, we wouldn’t have gotten this award. We are waiting so please come back.”

JYP also had a something unique to say for his award acceptance speech for winning Best Asian Song Writer award. After the usual “thank you” part of the acceptance, JYP said, “Two presidents of JYP entertainment, please stop smoking” which matched what was said on his shirt.  He was wearing all black clothing with white words in Korean saying “Ook, stop smoking!” (Ook is nickname of president of JYP Entertainment).
