2PM, JYPE & Jae-Bum situation update
It is probably the most controversial issue in Korean entertainment industry in recent years. Fans are demanding truth and justice but disagree on what is the truth and justice. It seems that people who knows the truth will never tell the truth.
Yes, it is regarding 2PM & Jae-Bum situation. As reported earlier, Jae-Bum was officially kicked out from 2PM by announcement that was made by JYP Entertainment on Feb. 25th (details). In response, fans were shocked and furious at the news. To calm them around, JYP Entertainment and 6 members of 2PM held a 4-hour Q & A session with the fans on Feb. 27th.
However, nothing was resolved or gained from the meeting, except for fans’ realization of rudeness from 2PM members. Many fans left the session in full anger towards their once-beloved 2PM members. To illustrate what the fans might have felt, here are examples of most extreme rudeness coming from 2PM members:
Fan’s Question: I heard that all 2PM members agreed upon Jae-Bum’s exit. Then why did you often mention Jae-Bum’s name during award acceptance speech and marketing purpose?
Chan-Sung’s reply: Even a thief has a friend. (Raising his voice) The mistake was made by Jae-Bum but why are you blaming it on us?
Fan’s Question: If Jae-Bum has made a critical mistake in his social life, how could he show himself in YouTube regularly?
Chan-Sung’s reply: I am the one who wants to ask him how he could put his face (in YouTube).
It was reported that Joon-Soo was sleeping during the session.
Fans are furious at 2PM, JYP, and JYP Entertainment as a result of the session. Many fans have turned against them and became an “anti” of 2PM. They started boycotting all activities of 2PM and products endorsed by 2PM. Some even dug up past stories and pictures of JYP and 2PM members to make their point that Jae-Bum isn’t the only one with a dirty secret.
Meanwhile, it has been told that Jae-bum’s mother has sent a letter to Jae-Bum’s fan club asking them to love other 2PM members. In respond, Jae-Bum’s fan club stated that they will heed to the content of the letter and help Jae-Bum and their family find peace.
This situation is far from over yet. However, one thing is for sure: it will be difficult to see Jae-Bum coming back to Korean entertainment industry again.

i think hes slept with sung mi wonder girls..thats d reason why both of them suddenly terminated from the company..its a nonsense for Korean celebs to just drop out from their fame bcoz its so difficult for them to be fame..just my random thinking~
As a Korean Im really embarressed about how we koreans are really messed up…its not like Jaebum is the only person in the world who said something about Korea..I swear the koreans in korea should rather learn extra english vocabs than stalkin n hatin the whold world..
