Lee Byung-Hun found not guilty while Kang Byung-Kyu was found guilty
Good day for Lee Byung-Hun but bad day for Kang Byung-Kyu. On March 19th, the court determined that Lee Byung-Hun was not guilty of his illegal gambling suspicions reported by his ex-girlfriend Kwon Mi-Yeon (Diana) while Kang Byung-Kyu was found guilty of threatening and defaming Lee Byung-Hun. Also, Kwon Mi-Yeon was found guilty of defaming Lee Byung-Hun but couldn’t be accounted for because she ran away to Canada.
The court stated that Kwon Mi-Yeon had blamed all of her wrong doings on Kang Byung-Kyu and Kang Byung-Kyu denied any wrong doings. Regarding the ~$2 million dollar controversy (that Kwon Mi-Yeon had received ~$2 million from Lee Byung-Hun), the court stated that the amount was discussed among the lawyers but there is no evidence that the money was actually handed over. The court ruled that infrequent gamble in a legal gambling area cannot be viewed as illegal gambling and therefore found Lee Byung-Hun not guilty.
After the ruling, Kang Byung-Kyu responded, “I just helped out Kwon Mi-Yeon because I thought she was in a tough situation. I will sue Lee Byung-Hun for defamation next week.”

So happy for LBH, and may these people truly learn their lesson. Throw the book at them and put them to jail. Extortion is not the way to earn money. Be like everybody else get a job and be productive. So where is the girl? Is she going to come back and face her charges?
