Here are stylish pictures of Jang Hyuk from an interview with a movie magazine cine21.com. On below is excerpts from the interview:

Q: It has been told that you had suggested the idea of having a knife mark on your character’s face in Choo-No.

A (Jang Hyuk): I thought that there should be a separator for my character’s past and the future. I had to “act” the 10 year difference but I thought it would be also nice to show the difference from appearance.

Q: (ending the interview) It is great to have an interview with you….

A (Jang Hyuk): Can I say one thing? There were many talks regarding the drama that was outside of the drama itself. Specifically there were lots of talks regarding Lee Da-Hae’s excessive appearance and such. As a person who was working together on her side, I want to tell that Lee Da-Hae tried her best to reenact the character that was given to her.

I’m glad someone is speak up and defend her.  This just goes to show that the critics are just being petty.  Its good that her peers are standing by her.  That was nice of him to say that about her.

AWWWW!!!! I loved this actor since watching Windstruck and now he made me love him more…..I knew that he and LDH were friends since the Robbers series…..I just love how he defends her……I mean the series itself was amazing and people were just criticizing LDH just for the sake of it….not because they think she acted badly but they criticized something so superficial as her appearance which to be sure is not her fault….they have people they hire for hair, make-up and costumes…..whatever LDH looked liked in the series that was the concept that the production team was aiming for and not her personal desire to stand out…..people who just wants to be means could not pick out anything bad about her acting capabilities so they ended up picking on something so superficial…..I mean they criticized that she was too neat looking….how about the end of her hanbok it did not looked neat and clean……how about other series were the lead ladies don’t looked messy and unkept ever why did they not criticize that….with the unnecessary exposure that they picked on…..did the people in Old Korea never took their clothes off…..did they never get raped or kissed or whatever….grow up people and stop being just nasty for the sake of being nasty…..the drama was amazing….the actors were amazing……the production was amazing……
