Good bye Kim Nam-Gil! We will miss ya!

Here are last photos of Kim Nam-Gil as a civilian for two years. He had entered military training facility on July 15th, where he would be trained for 4 weeks in basic training. Afterwards, he will be working as a military personnel for 2 years. And unfortunately, no public activities outside of his military work is allowed within those 2 years.

Lee Byung-Hun had appeared in Korea’s court as a witness to Kang Byung-Kyu’s legal case on July 14th. It was a private hearing so the details of the testimony were not publicized. However, after his hearing was over, Lee Byung-Hun commented to the press, “The reason that I had kept my mouth shut until now is because I thought that the situation was too absurd and can’t be real. I told everything that I knew in court. The truth will be revealed soon.”

Kang Byung-Kyu was charged with threatening Lee Byung-Hun with his ex-girlfriend Kwon Mi-Yeon situation and exposing Lee Byung-Hun’s private life with ex-girlfriend to the press.

It was announced that actor Hyun Bin and Lee Jung-Jin had to abandon their roles in director Kwak Kyung-Tec’s newest movie Beautiful Us. Both Hyun Bin and Lee Jung-Jin have casted as main roles this May but the filming of the movie has been delayed ever since. Lee Jung-Jin had to quit because he was casted in another drama The Fugitive. Hyun Bin had to quit because he is expected to start his military service starting November of 2010. That means we won’t get to see Hyun Bin for 2 years.

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin’s management company stated, “Although Hyun Bin is scheduled to start his military service this year, it is not certain that he will start it this November.” No word on how his girlfriend Song Hye-Gyo will react either.

Sorry folks. It looks like Park Shin-Hye had already refused the lead role for the one of the most anticipated drama in the fall, Mischievous Kiss. She told, “I am booked until rest of the year and main character from Mischievous Kiss is similar with my character from You’re Beautiful and therefore I have decided to refuse the offer early on. I apologize to the actress who will eventually take the main role of the drama.”

She ended her comment by saying, “I am still busy although my school is on vacation. I want to be good at both my school activities and my acting career.”

The producers of drama Bad Guy have decided to shorten the number of episodes from 20 to 17. It was a decision that they had to make because of Kim Nam-Gil’s entrance to the military training camp starting from July 15th. Even with ending in 17 episodes, all of the cast members spent all day and night in filming the drama for past few weeks and had to ask permission to leave the filming grounds.

This means we won’t be seeing Kim Nam-Gil for 2 years. Be ready to say good bye to Kim Nam-Gil….
