What is Lee Byung-Hun’s infamous ex-girlfriend Kwon Mi-Yeon (Diana Kwon) doing lately? Well, she is doing rather well. It looks like she has opened up a Tae Kwon Do training ground in Canada, as you can see from the photo in above, and it already has many students attending the place. The name of the place is called “K1 Tae Kwon Do” and you can also see photos of Kwon Mi-Yeon’s mother and sister’s photos along with her own. It has been told that before the trial with Lee Byung-Hun, Kwon Mi-Yeon was short on money and on verge of having her house taken away.

The trial with Lee Byung-Hun and Kwon Mi-Yeon hasn’t ended. Kwon Mi-Yeon had applied for an extension at the last day of the allowed time period. Their trial is scheduled at August 12th. The case will end if both sides don’t show up on the day and there is no option for extension, finally.

Lee Byung-Hun had appeared in Korea’s court as a witness to Kang Byung-Kyu’s legal case on July 14th. It was a private hearing so the details of the testimony were not publicized. However, after his hearing was over, Lee Byung-Hun commented to the press, “The reason that I had kept my mouth shut until now is because I thought that the situation was too absurd and can’t be real. I told everything that I knew in court. The truth will be revealed soon.”

Kang Byung-Kyu was charged with threatening Lee Byung-Hun with his ex-girlfriend Kwon Mi-Yeon situation and exposing Lee Byung-Hun’s private life with ex-girlfriend to the press.

Bad news for Lee Byung-Hun fans. A week before, allKoreanGossip reported that there were contradicting articles regarding whether Kwon Mi-Yeon’s case against Lee Byung-Hun ended or not. Since then, few news articles have been posted which claimed Kwon Mi-Yeon indeed had filed for an extension on June 21st and the case received another life line. Both Lee Byung-Hun and Kwon Mi-Yeon will be asked to stand in court for one last time and the case will expire if they do not show up.

Even the Korea’s media reporters are not certain about whether the court case between Lee Byung-Hun and Kwon Mi-Yeon (Diana Kwon) had ended or not. On June 21, there has been several reports from Korea’s media saying that the court case between Lee Byung-Hun and Kwon Mi-Yeon officially ended by Kwon Mi-Yeon not requesting for any further action past the legal due date for the case.

However, one Korea media claimed that the court had received a mail from Kwon Mi-Yeon to continue with the case at the last due date (link). If that is true, the court will advance the case and the case will live on.

April 21st was Kang Byung-Kyu’s first day of trial. He was in trial for charges of physical assaults in the filming set of drama Iris and blackmailing Lee Byung-Hun for money by threatening to reveal LBH’s secrets with his ex-girlfriend Kwon Mi-Yeon.

Kang Byung-Kyu came to trial with his girlfriend and a friend. Both his girlfriend and his friend who came along were also charged from the trial. After the first trial was over, Kang Byung-Kyu told, “It is only a start but it is already hard. I really wish that Lee Byung-Hun would show up and stand as a witness. Also, I haven’t been able to speak with Kwon Mi-Yeon. I hope she shows up too.”
