Still no agreement between three members of TVXQ (Hero Jae-Joong, Micky Yoo-Chun, Xiah Joon-Soo) and SM Entertainment.

On May 7th the court continued case of TVXQ’s lawsuit to nullify their exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. During the day, SM Entertainment argued that the profit dividing ratio between the company and the members is not that bad compared to the dividing ratio used from other entertainment companies in Korea. SM Entertainment also argued that the previous result of the lawsuit only granted a limited freedom for the members and that their separate contract with AVEX is a serious violation of their exclusive contract with SM. On the other side, three members of TVXQ argued that both the length of time period and the profit dividing ratio were not legally fair.

TVXQ’s management company for Japanese activities AVEX have announced on 14th the launch of TVXQ unit in Japan. The unit will consist of 3 members of TVXQ: Hero Jae-Joong, Micky Yoo-Chun, and Xiah Joon-Soo. The announcement stated that the members of the unit have finalized their contracts with AVEX separately. The TVXQ unit is scheduled to have fan meetings from June 5th to 13th in Tokyo Dome and Osaka.

Meanwhile SM Entertainment responded to this news by stating, “The exclusive contract between all members of TVXQ, including the three members, are still valid and in effect. We did not give them a permission to go on their own way. They are being irreponsible by acting on their own when the court case regarding the exclusive contract has not been finalized.” Also it has been reported that SM has filed a lawsuit worth ~2 million dollars against the three members for acting and profiting on their own (for their cosmetic business and cancellation of Sim Chun, China concert) and violating the exclusive contract.

Well, we may never see all 5 members of TVXQ in one stage but at least it is relieving to know that Micky, Hero, and Xiah are still close. They recently have been caught by paparazzi in Gimpo (Korea) airport….

Contrary to some top Korean entertainers (i.e. TVXQ Xiah Joon-Soo) who cares less about what they wear in an airport, G-Dragon is always up to high fashion standards on his airport visits. In most of these photos, G-Dragon seems to be very tired and even has a mask on his face but nevertheless always holds his poise and looks so…. cool.
